Steve Jahr
Senior Accountant
Steve joined the Hungerford team in 2007 as an intern, became a full-time Staff Accountant in 2009, and was promoted to Senior Accountant in December 2011. Steve earned his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Grand Valley State University and is currently working on his Masters of Business Administration through the University of Nebraska. 2010 was a busy year for Steve, as he got married to Cassandra in November, and also passed his CPA exam. His services include audit, review and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation, and tax planning. His specialties include tax services for trust and estate tax clients as well as providing auditing and tax services for non-profit organizations.
A former member of the Grand Valley State Cycling Team, Steve regularly enjoys riding his bike and participating in numerous running races around the West Michigan area. An active member of the community, he also enjoys volunteering for such organizations as Elves & More and the United Way Schools of Hope tutoring program.
