Peggy Murphy, CPA
Shareholder
Peggy joined the firm in 1995 and has full responsibility for a variety of business and individual client accounts. A native of Grand Rapids, Peggy earned her Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Accounting and Minors in Law and General Business from Western Michigan University. Peggy earned her CPA certification in Michigan in 1983, and has been serving closely held and family owned businesses in West Michigan for over 25 years. She focuses in the areas of taxation and assisting business owners in achieving greater profitability and meeting their goals.
Her services include review and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation, tax planning and representing clients before the IRS. Litigation support assistance is provided to attorneys, analyzing financial information, preparation of exhibits and expert witness testimony. Management services include business planning, financing assistance, and other management consulting.
Peggy has been actively involved in numerous professional and community organizations. She teaches classes for small business owners offered through the MI-SBTDC Small Business & Technology Development Center at GVSU. She also presents many technical topics in client seminars and association meetings, and is a regular guest on the WOOD Radio, Morning News Show to discuss tax-related topics.
