Shareholder

Mitch joined the firm in 1994 as a Manager, and was named a Shareholder in 2001. A native of South Dakota, Mitch earned a Bachelors degree in Economics from Calvin College, and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan. His services include audit, review and compilation of financial statements, tax return preparation, tax planning, and representing clients before the IRS. Mitch is responsible for a variety of business and individual client accounts. His specialties include small business assistance, financial statement and analysis, and peer reviews of accounting firms. Internal firm responsibilities include accounting and auditing, quality control, and compliance with professional standards. He has given numerous presentations on Peer Reviews and Auditing Financial Statements.

Mitch and his wife Jan enjoy family activities with their three sons and daughter, especially trips to the beach at Lake Michigan. He also enjoys listening to his vast collection of 1960s-1980s classic rock.
