Jason Mitchell, CPA

Manager - Governmental Services

Jason joined the Hungerford Governmental Services team in 2008 to provide auditing and consulting services for school districts, cities, townships, villages, and non-profits. He also specializes in Federal compliance audits for governmental units. Jason attended Ferris State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy, with a minor in computer information systems, and graduated with highest honors. He earned his CPA certification in Michigan in 2002.

Jason was presented with a Distinguished Alumni award from Reed City Area Public Schools. He is treasurer of the Ferris State University National Alumni Board of Directors, and Chair of the Ferris State University Distinguished Alumni Awards and Scholarship Committee. Jason is actively involved in numerous area charities and events, and is Vice-President of the Reed City Sport Riders Motorcycle Club.
